Okay let me start off by saying that they just opened up on August 6. They have littered my whole neighborhood with their menu on every sense door car window anywhere they could put one. So tonight I decided to call them at 7:25 I gave him my address I asked them if I was in their delivery zone and I was asked my zip code and told you yes I was. An hour later I called them and I asked where is my pizza the young lady that answered the phone told me well sir it must be on its way because I don't see your name anymore. So I waited another 25 minutes still no pizza so I call and ask to talk to the manager. He gets on the phone and proceeded to tell me that I am out of his delivery zone after an hour and 30 minutes I get the answer that I should have got when I called them to begin with. What I don't understand is if I am out of your delivery zone why did you trash my whole neighborhood with your menus. Then he proceeds to tell me that he will give me the pizza at a discounted price. I said no thank you the pizza have been sitting there for over an hour and a half is ice cold I don't want that pizza he said we will make you a new one and it'll be there 30 to 45 minutes fresh hot pizza at a discounted price. Needless to say I am eating a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and I am going to bed but Hungry Howies is not going to make it in New Orleans if it does things like that. Word of mouth is the best advertisement and unfortunately I have a big mouth and will tell everyone about this horrible experience. They got a twofer out of me first time and last time I will ever call them.

The review who called this little ceasars is spot on. tastes the exact same which is fine with me. you can order online which is awesome because i am an introvert and hate the phone. you can also split up your pizza and do half and half which is awesome. i thought it was going to take forever cuz it was right before a saints game but it took 12 minutues!!!! them not delivering north of canal is annoying since i am a stones throw north of canal so i drove there to pick it up. it wasnt ready but didnt wait long. staff was nice and good. just a couple people eating there. doesnt strike me as a place to go and eat out at. just get it to go. seems like it would be awkward to eat it there unless you just want out of the house. it is good in a "hungover i want to be unhealthy way". def not quality ingredients but it cheap, quick and tastes pretty good. sometimes you just want that type of pizza. the flavored crust is odd. it is just some powder they sprinkle over it. nothing special but a good little twist. i got the ranch and the butter cheese. ranch was easily better. chemically goodness. ill go again when i want football pizza, im drunk, or im hungover. They do not deliver north of canal online but if you call it in they might. (But ordering online is awesome cuz you don't have to talk to anyone.)

One step up from Lil Caesar's but definitely not bad to say the least. The only thing that comes to my mind when I think of this place is fast food pizza. Came here for lunch the other day and ordered a small pepperoni pizza with asiago flavored crust. Came out quick and efficiently so no complaints from me. My friends ordered a calzone and loved them. Don't necessarily have to come back here but if I was in the area and wanted some pizza, I would maybe try them again.

My fave pizza from the college days!! So excited they're in town. Stick to the basics - pepperoni pizza with butter cheese crust and howie cheese bread. It'll cure anything.

So I try to stay away from chain pizza, sticking with places such as Mellow Mushroom or Theo's, or homemade. But sometimes, that certain someone just want a quick pizza, so I gave in the other night. Well, it was worth it. The order was placed online, calling for "light cheese" and garlic crust. The crust was very good, the cheese was light, and the sauce was pretty good as well. It was honestly a very good pizza (the one slice I had). And it's amazingly cheap. Mmmmmm..... pizza...

I noticed this place had opened up on Earhart express way.I tried it one time and now I'm hooked. The customer service here has always consistently been good. I never had any problems with rudeness from any employee from this establishment. As far as the pizza is concerned it is delicious! I have been here nearly a dozen times and the pizza has been good every time I ordered. Compared to to other pizza places this place is grade A. It is better than little ceasers and Domino's. But it still can't beat Pizza hut though. My favorite aspect of this chain restaurant is the flavored crust. Garlic herb and ranch flavoring on the crust is some of my favorites. They also got good calzones, salads, and cheesy breads if pizza isn't your thing. This place is really geared for takeout but you can sit down if you like. My favorite thing is that this place stays open late!, like 3:00 am late! In short better than average chain pizza restaurant that stays open late in case you have late night cravings for food.

Pizza was solid. Service (take out) was sour with a twinge of racism. After an interaction in which he questioned whether or not I had even made an order, paid for said order, waited sufficient enough time for said order- He ended the interaction with "Sign-o el ticket-o" because of course, I have an accent and he was using his best Spanish (I had asked who I assume to be the manager to repeat what he said after he mumbled for me to, apparently sign my receipt". I hope they get shut down.

Fuck this place. I ordered a pizza at two am. It's 3:30. Not here yet. I've called about five times..the lady keeps telling me "five minutes". Dude, just be honest and up front and tell me the actual time. It's a Thursday night in New Orleans...it's not like it's a Saturday in a small town. Get it together. Update. Pizza came at 4am. Cold. And wrong.

Price: exceptional Promptness: exceptional Taste: AMAZING! I had never tried hungry Howie's pizza before, so I decided I should give it a shot. Because it was inexpensive pizza, I was expecting mediocrity. With their user-friendly website I ordered a small pepperoni pizza with garlic herb crust, light on the cheese, and heavy on the sauce. We picked it up, and as soon as I got in the car with it I could smell the garlicky yumminess. It was challenging to wait until I got home to devour this heavenly pizza creation. My SO had experienced hungry Howie's in Michigan. He claimed he didn't want any, but I was happy I ordered a small because I knew he wanted a piece. Needless to say, he wasn't surprised with how delicious it was. When I repeatedly exclaimed how delicious it was, he simply responded "I don't know why you're so amazed; I told you it was good."

So I'm currently in store. Been standing at counter for 10+ minutes. Two employees sitting in booth chatting. Two working. No one interested in taking my order. There is stuff all over the floor in kitchen. Very dirty. Like food crumbs. I'm leaving.

Ok, so it's 8pm, post happy hour. We're all hanging out and no one's had dinner. A friend just got these coupons in her mailbox for a new place called Hungry Howie's. Another friend (from Atlanta) can't stop ranting and raving about this place. So, I call. The guy on the phone was incredibly customer service oriented. He helped me find the best deal for our group of 8 (apparently, my 3 medium pizzas for $15 was only for single toppings). They estimated a 30-45 minute delivery. It took 40 minutes and the pizza arrived piping HOT! The crust is delicious. My favorite was the butter cheese. Yum! Certainly my most favorite pizza delivery around. I hope they keep up the excellent customer service and delicious piping hot pizza!

This pizza taste like it came from the frozen food department. It was so dry. But hey it's New Years and there was nothing else I was going to be able to eat or quality so I'll be grateful. However, this isn't a place I want to buy another pizza from. I would never willingly buy pizza here. desperate times call for desperate measures.

This pizza was sooo good!!!!. The sauce has a taste reminds me of chuckle e cheese's pizza. The crust is what makes the pizza, in my opinion. They offer different flavor crust as well. I also ordered wings (hot) it came to with two ranch dressings.

So I'm eating my pizza right now but the whole experience was so much better than expected I wanted to write immediately. First of all thank god for late-night delivery. All of us who work late nights and are too tired to cook have somewhere to turn. Second, talk about fast; I ordered online (yay no talking on the phone) at 10:43 and my nice driver called from downstairs at 11:06. AND she apologized for the "wait" saying there was only one driver tonight. I doubled the tip I'd already given online, because there is an "additional tip" line on the receipt and she definitely deserved it. Third, the pizza itself! I suppose I am a pizza snob who loves Theo's, Pizza Delicious, Pizza Domenica, etc...I was only ordering this because it's fucking 11pm and who is even going to bring me food at this hour? Well, it's way better than expected! At least as good as the revamped Domino's if not better. I got a pretty basic pie, with Garlic & Herb crust (chose that flavor based on another review) and pepperoni. Yes you can taste that it's garlic powder but that also happens to be a flavor from my childhood so I'm into it. All in all, I'd just like to say Thank you, Hungry Howie's. And I wish your delivery driver's name was on the receipt so I could give her a shout-out.

Perfect pizza place! I personally feel they are better than Pizza Hut and Domino's. The butter and cajun flavor is the best crust flavors. Salads are so good! The portion sizes are good for the price. Hours of operation are so helpful. If you stay out late partying and you are hungry make your way Uptown. The pizza place is real clean and the employees are friendly.

I was so happy to see that they opened a Hungry Howie's because I used to have it in Baton Rouge all the time. The ranch crust is definitely my favorite. They also stay open until 4am every day of the week. I'm in college so this is super awesome for me. Gotta try it out its delicious!

Hungry Howie's Pizza is ballin' out of control. I love this place more than life itself. And they're open till 4am?! That's like the afternoon for me. Solid. Also, the Buffalo Chicken Pizza...out of this world. All of the employees are all super dope, fun loving people. Definitely coming back for more.

Do not waste your time on this location. I friend and I ordered a pizza last night, at 1 AM, 2/13, and we live about a mile away. The expected wait time was 30 to 40 minutes. After an hour of no pizza, we tried to call the location and get a status on our order, but we ended up waiting 15 minutes on the phone listening to all the specials being repeated over and over, just trying to get in touch with somebody. While my friend was waiting on the phone I called the location in Hammond to see if they could help us get in touch with the New Orleans branch. Miraculously in less than a minute, somebody from the Hammond store picked up and was very helpful. She called the Earhart location and were able to reach them. She explained they were very busy and had ONLY ONE DRIVER AND ONE MAN IN THE KITCHEN. After the girl from Hammond bothered the girl at the Earhart location, and after another 45 minutes had passed, we finally got in touch with somebody. She was very rude, short, and it was clear that she didn't give a damn about her job. 20 minutes later, at 3:15, our pizza arrived. It was cold and hard. Obviously it had been sitting for a while. Reject this location at all costs.

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.
